Addiction Research Lab

The Addiction Research Lab is seeking healthy volunteers ages 25 to 65 to participate in research on treatments for alcohol use disorder. The current study is investigating the relationship between brain function and the cognitive and behavioral effects of regular alcohol use.

Participants will undergo magnetic resonance brain imaging (MRI) before and after taking the antibiotic minocycline for four weeks. This study will involve up to seven visits to the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center (MPRC) in Catonsville. Compensation will be provided.
