In UniSON

The School of Nursing's anti-oppression position statement, In UniSON: Together We Commit, Together We Act, was officially launched a year ago, on Oct. 18, 2021.

In UniSON, the members of the University of Maryland School of Nursing acknowledge the devasting impact of structural racism and other forms of structural oppression on our country, communities, and school.

To recognize and reflect on this one-year anniversary, UMSON's Office of Diversity and Inclusion is offering a time to come together to reflect, share, and rededicate ourselves in our commitment to action.

Please join us during the week of Oct. 17 to participate in  our photobooth, pick up a commemorative pin, and learn more about our Office of Diversity and Inclusion and our School of Nursing’s commitment to move our statement and position against racism and oppression forward.
