This session will provide an overview of both nursing doctoral programs in Maryland along with important issues to consider in choosing a program.
This workshop will:
- Summarize the breadth of doctoral programs in Maryland
- Compare and contrast DNP and PhD degrees and programs with presentations, among others, from Dr. Shannon Idzik and Dr. Eun-Shim Nahm
- Identify issues to consider in choosing a program including financial support
- Describe how to best position yourself for application to different programs
