National Wellness Action Alliance: Wellness Wednesday Webinar Series Part II for Nursing and Health Sciences Faculty and Staff

The National Wellness Action Alliance, an action collaborative comprised of faculty from 55 universities and colleges, is bringing together national experts for the Fall 2022 Wellness Wednesday Webinar Series for Faculty and Staff to combat skyrocketing mental health issues in our students, colleagues, friends, and families.
This six-week webinar series aims to assist faculty and staff across higher education institutions in leading the charge to move toward positive wellness cultures in your environment. By participating in the series, you will build skills, knowledge, and confidence to handle stress, optimize health and well-being in yourself and your students, and bring about meaningful change to promote cultures of wellness across your communities.
The six sessions will cover:

Dr. Jessica Semin, University of Nebraska - Nov. 2 - Cultivating Emotional Resilience
Dr. Angela Owens, Purdue University - Nov. 9 - Cultivating a Culture of Wellness in Academic Institutions
Dr. Katie Pavek, University of Wisconsin - Nov. 16 - Self-Care in Nursing Education: Enhancing Student Awareness through Experience

For nurses joining the webinars live, nursing contact hours will be awarded for attending at least five of the six sessions.
