Recently UMB Mail Services acquired a new postage system that will give our carriers the ability to scan accountable mail and packages that we receive and deliver throughout the University.

During the next few months, you will see management applying barcodes to each mailstop. When the carriers deliver and pick up mail, they will scan the barcode indicating that they visited the mailstop during the day. This process will ensure that the University continues to receive the reliable services that you have come to expect from Mail Services.
