The first-ever UMB Sustainability Strategic Plan outlines and lays the foundation for implementing sustainability initiatives that support our commitment to reduce and mitigate climate change, and engage faculty, staff, and students in programs aimed at waste reduction and reimagining our path forward. Anna Borgerding will join President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS, to discuss what the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Office of Sustainability and its University partners are doing across campus to move UMB toward a more sustainable future.
