Fort McHenry

Anyone in need of a study break and looking to learn more about Baltimore and its bird life is invited to join the Maryland Environmental Law Society on a bird walk at Fort McHenry National Monument (2400 E. Fort Ave.) on Sunday, Oct. 30, at 9 a.m.

Sitting at the end of the Locust Point peninsula, this noteworthy historic site also is a bird magnet and boasts gorgeous views of the Patapsco River and South Baltimore.

We will meet in the grass parking lot across from the visitors center lot at 9 a.m. It's easy walking on a loop trail (1-1.5 miles) with flat terrain.

Bring binoculars if you have them! While not required, they certainly help.

To RSVP or if you have any questions, email Nico Sarbanes at nasarbanes@umaryland.edu.
Students, faculty, and staff, let your voice be heard!
