The University of Maryland School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins Medicine are hosting this year’s Interprofessional Telemedicine Education Symposium. This virtual event will take place March 7, 2022, from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. EST. It will focus on how we can work together to prepare our health care workforce for the future of telemedicine in primary and ambulatory care with new products and delivery strategies.

In addition to attending the standard lectures, participants will be invited and encouraged to participate in collaborative sessions where curricula and training will be discussed. Patient stakeholders will be key participants, considering the importance of consumer-informed health care abstract submissions will be elicited, and many TM innovation abstracts will be shared as podium or poster presentations.

Additional presentation topics include "A Patient Perspective on Telemedicine: Getting from Good to Great," "Telemedicine — Role of TM in Primary Care," "Leveraging Telemedicine to Improve Outcomes in Diabetes," and many more.

Students, residents, fellows, nurses and nonclinical staff may attend at no charge. There is a $250 tuition for providers (MDs, DOs, CRNPs, PAs).
