"Resiliency, Health, and Well-Being" is a series of quarterly programs offered by the Pi at-Large Chapter of Sigma at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the Nu Beta at-Large Chapter of Sigma at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to foster well-being and resiliency in nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team of health care providers.

Self-Compassion as a Strategy to Promote Resilience presented by: Victoria Hughes, DNS, MSN, RN, FAAN, assistant professor, Johns Hopkins School of Nursing
The fourth event in the series will identify the components of self-compassion; reflect on experiences with kindness, compassion, and self-compassion; and show how strategies from this workshop can be implemented to reduce nurse burnout and promote resilience.
