Embracing the University of Maryland, Baltimore's (UMB) core values of Equity and Justice, Stonewall Pride sees LGBTQ+ faculty and staff coming together to engage in discussions around diversity, equity, and inclusion and building relationships centered on the experiences of LGBTQ+ people at UMB. Stonewall Pride is a component of UMB’s diversity affinity groups and is supported by the Diversity Advisory Council, advocating for inclusion and appreciation for LGBTQ+ people in our community. Stonewall Pride creates opportunities for LGBTQ+ employees to socialize, participate in community outreach, and advocate for increased acceptance and equality on campus.
