Preparing the Future (PTF) is an interdisciplinary program that provides interprofessional opportunities for any student who is interested in learning about HIV in a collaborative manner.

Interprofessional education provides the future health care professional with the ability to work together with a multidisciplinary team to provide care that yields a more efficient health care system with better patient outcomes.

Students who complete this program receive a certificate of completion and the experience to work successfully in an interprofessional setting treating HIV patients as well as other chronic long-term illnesses.
