University of Maryland School of Social Work Associate Professor Darren Whitfield, PhD, will lead a newly funded study titled "Project Transcendence - HIV PrEP Uptake, Use, and Adherence Among Black Transgender Women."
Gilead Sciences is providing over $351,000 in funding toward the project.
