Adrienne Kambouris

Adrienne Kambouris, a University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) student, wanted to resume her daily normal living. That’s why she received the COVID-19 booster vaccine.

“I’m just trying to do my part to stop the COVID pandemic,” she said. (Watch a video of Kambouris below.)

Vaccine and infectious disease experts say that getting a booster shot is the best way to prevent spread and serious illness and ultimately bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.
