The University of Maryland, Baltimore Faculty Senate is accepting nominations for the Educator of the Year award. Nomination packets should include a letter of recommendation from the person nominating, one additional letter from a colleague, and the nominee’s CV/resumé.

Specific Criteria for Educator of the Year:

1. Past national and/or local teaching awards
2. If available, multidisciplinary curriculum development or contributions toward course development
3. Innovative methods or approaches to teaching
4. If available, student evaluations and/or endorsements 

The chosen individuals will be recognized and receive their award at an event during Founders Week to be held the week of Oct. 16, 2023.

The nomination process will close at 5 p.m. July 15.  Please send nominations to:
