The Leaders in Education: Academy of Presidential Scholars (LEAPS) is excited to announce its inaugural Distinguished Educator Awards for 2022-2023.
Designed to recognize exceptional teaching, mentoring, and educational scholarship activities of UMB faculty members, preceptors, and mentors, these awards will be announced at the LEAPS Symposium on April 11.
Nominations are now open through March 1.
Any faculty member (at any level) at UMB may nominate another faculty member for these awards. Clinical coordinators and other clinical education staff members may also nominate preceptors. Self-nominations are accepted. Criteria and submission information may be found on the LEAPS website at https://www.umaryland.edu/leaps/awards-and-recognition/.
