Accelerate the dissemination of information and enhance diversity in the biomedical workforce through the All of Us Research Program Mini-Grant Researcher Awards.

The American Association of the Colleges of Nursing (AACN) invites "Dyads" of researchers and mentees (faculty and students) from AACN member schools to leverage the Researcher Workbench in addressing two or three research questions. The Research Projects Directory provides transparency by showcasing existing projects on the Researcher Workbench. The principal investigator is expected to engage researchers by conducting educational in-services to their faculty and students to increase the number of users in the workbench. AACN is asking each institution to register two or more researchers and record testimonial videos about experiences using the Researcher Workbench. Each awardee will present the findings from their study at a professional conference.

Interested applicants must be already affiliated with an institution that holds a Data Use and Registration Agreement (DURA) with NIH and the All of Us Research Program.

We encourage researchers who identify as belonging to one or more groups or communities that are underrepresented in the biomedical research workforce to apply.

The budget consists of up to $12,000 for the awardee to conduct the project. The budget may be used for personnel, equipment, travel expenses, consultant services, computer software, printing, and other materials and supplies as needed. There are no institutional indirect costs allowed by this mini-grant funding mechanism. Awards are contingent on availability of funds. No funds of the award may be used for gift cards as a mechanism to increase participation.

Application Deadline: Sept. 15
