Celebrate Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month with the Intercultural Center
October 02, 2023Join the Intercultural Center as we honor and celebrate the contributions of Hispanic/Latinx communities at UMB and beyond!
Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month is celebrated each year from Sept. 15 through to Oct. 15. The start date of Sept. 15 is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for several Latin American countries, including El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Guatemala. Additionally, Chile and Mexico celebrate their anniversaries of independence in September.
