The social work profession has a long history of producing some of the top leaders who have created societal change through organizations, government, communities, and society as a whole. As social workers, the leadership skill set is a part of the degree. Steven Lewis will discuss how his social work degree, skills, training, and expertise led him into leadership and management roles. He will also discuss how we prepare the next generation of social work leaders and continue to show the value of the profession.
