Laurie Graham

This spring, a research team led by Laurie Graham, PhD, MSW, assistant professor from the University of Maryland School of Social Work studied data in evaluation of The Levitas Initiative's program ERIN Talk. ERIN Talk is a seven-week in-school curriculum administered in Baltimore City Public Schools aimed at helping middle schoolers learn protective skills that could help insulate them from sexual violence.

Though more research is needed and researchers continue to collect data, Graham's team noted, "These very preliminary findings are promising and support continued evaluation of ERIN Talk."

The team reviewed these findings and more during a virtual Lunch & Learn with the University of Maryland, Baltimore team.
