July 27: IPE Faculty Development
June 12, 2023UMB's Center for Interprofessional Education is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for faculty interested in interprofessional education and practice. In lieu of our annual IPE Faculty Development event on campus, we are working with the University of Nebraska Medical Center and its Fifth Annual Heartland Interprofessional Education Conference — Collaborating for Competency: Promoting Interprofessional Education and Practice. The first day of the conference July 27 will be virtual and very similar to our typical UMB IPE Faculty Development Day with a keynote speaker, followed by breakout rooms and potentially poster sessions. The UMB Center for Interprofessional Education is pleased to cover the $100 registration fee for the first 25 faculty to note interest in attending the virtual day of the conference. This event affords UMB faculty with the opportunity to learn from and network with many leaders in IPE across the country. Please note that there is also an opportunity to submit an abstract for a session. Abstracts are due by Friday, June 23. More information on abstract submission can be found at the link above.
