In this episode of Virtual Face to Face, UMB President Bruce E. Jarrell will talk with Cpl. Yale Partlow about the community-based approach the UMBPD is taking to address crime. As the department’s outreach and intervention officer, Partlow works with the UMBPD Community Outreach and Support Team and the University of Maryland School of Social Work to provide critical resources and case management for our most vulnerable neighbors. The department’s innovative approach works: Not only is UMBPD helping to improve the human condition, but the UMB campus also is one of the safest areas in downtown Baltimore.
