Optional Retirement Plan contributions and payroll deductions for University of Maryland, Baltimore employees enrolled in the Maryland State Teachers' Pension System will stop from June 9 to Aug. 18. Contributions to the Optional Retirement Plan and payroll deductions for the Maryland State Teachers' Pension System will resume Sept. 1. This does not impact those enrolled in the Employees Pension or Law Enforcement Officers Pension System (LEOPS).
