Dark, foreboding pirate ship.

The year is 1715 and the setting is a pirate ship. Captain Carcass stumbles up from the galley and dies having been run through with a cutlass. Who is responsible? Join us and find out, but be warned ye may be accused of the murder and made to walk the plank.  

Costumes are highly encouraged. Come dressed as a pirate or wench for this interactive murder-mystery dinner on Sept. 16 at UMB's Donaldson Brown Riverfront Event Center in Port Deposit, Md. Donaldson Brown has teamed with Whodunnit for Hire to host the event.

Doors open for guest arrivals and cocktails at 7 p.m.; Murder Mystery Dinner will begin at 8 p.m.

  • Your $95 per person fee includes a three-course dinner, tax, and gratuity.
  • Groups of four or more are discounted.
  • Choose between prime rib, chicken marsala or honey glazed salmon with potato swirls, vegetables, and bread. Finish off the meal with a delicious dessert. 
  • BYOB: You are encouraged to bring rum, ale, and the beverages of your choice. 
  • Age Requirement: Must be 21 or older
