White paper identity

Are you interested in exploring how the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) can positively contribute to the vibrancy of the surrounding community?

UMB Student Affairs is looking for current students to participate in a six-month project aimed at exploring the strategies and steps UMB, as an anchor institution, should adopt to positively contribute to near-campus vibrancy through the investment of resources and strategic initiatives.

This is an opportunity to author a University-focused white paper in a collaboration with an interprofessional team of your peers; meet and interview members of the University leadership, including President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS; and present the white paper, findings, and institutional recommendations to the University community.

Fellows will receive a total stipend accumulating to $2,500 during the 2023-2024 academic year.

Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Monday, Nov. 6.
