"Resiliency, Health, and Well-Being" is a series of quarterly programs offered by the Pi at-Large Chapter of Sigma at the University of Maryland School of Nursing and the Nu Beta at-Large Chapter of Sigma at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing to foster well-being and resiliency in nurses, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team of health care providers.

R3 Updates and Strategies to Promote Well-Being presented by Cynda Rushton, PhD, RN, FAAN
Rushton is the chief synergy strategist for Maryland's R3 Resilient Nurses Initiative. This statewide initiative aims to build resilience and ethical practice in nursing students and novice nurses. The presentation will focus on the latest research from the R3 initiative and offer strategies to promote well-being with a special focus on promoting resilience and well-being in mentors and new nurses.
