James Campbell

Please join the University of Maryland School of Nursing August virtual Monthly Research Seminar as we host James Campbell, MD, MS, professor, University of Maryland School of Medicine, who will talk about participant payment considerations from a researcher, participant, and an Institutional Review Board perspective.

Determining the appropriate amount of compensation for research participation across social/behavioral, treatment, observational/interventional, local/international, and other studies with varying populations can often be an ambiguous decision to make. Campbell navigates the discussion around risk not being a factor in payment but rather participant time, resources, and effort.

Register to receive link to join the event at noon Aug. 17.
