Human subjects researchers and research teams with experience in multisite studies utilizing a single Institutional Review Board (IRB) are invited to review and comment on the draft SMART IRB recommendations for local context harmonization. The deadline is Sept. 22.

The SMART IRB Working Group identified several challenges and inconsistencies related to local considerations (aka local context) and recommended harmonization in three key areas to improve the process for providing, collecting, and reviewing local considerations.
