In our first meeting we had a nice discussion about biomedical vs. biopsychosocial models of symptoms, their limitations, and development of an updated model.
At our next meeting, we will go into more depth and evaluate modern biopsychosocial models and their limitations.
All are welcome, including students, staff, faculty, scientists, clinicians, patients, etc.

SYNAPSE Center – advancing biopsychosocial theory of symptoms using psychology, sociology, linguistics, neuroscience, philosophy, and other fields to better predict, prevent, and treat symptoms to allow people to live the lives they want to live.
