University System of Maryland (USM) Chancellor Jay A. Perman, MD, hosts monthly, online Chancellor’s Chats as an opportunity to stay connected with and hear from students across the state about how they are doing and their ideas, to build connections, and to have them get to know him.
The chats are organized around a designated topic or area of interest and are very informal. Students from all USM institutions, including several UMB students, attend each chat. There are no specific requirements for attendance other than strong personal interest or experience with the topic and a willingness to engage in the discussion.
