Change Management and Advisory Services (CMAS) hosts periodic drop-in sessions on a variety of compliance issues.

Join CMAS at 2 p.m. Sept. 27 for a one-hour open discussion about compliance-related topics/issues. This session presents an opportunity to ask questions and/or share concerns/suggestions for improvement.  Attendees are encouraged to come prepared with specific examples. Possible areas for discussion include, but are not limited to, interacting with auditors, internal controls, record retention, and compliance with UMB policies (e.g., Pcard, Travel, Study Participant Payments, etc.)

Past drop-in Sessions have included presentations on topics such as the UMB Food Policy, Booking Travel via Pcard, Split Purchases, and Recent/Common Audit Findings. Suggestions of topics for future educational sessions are always appreciated and may be submitted at any time via MAS-help@umaryland.edu.
