On March 28, 2023, the Academic and Student Affairs Counsel approved two new syllabi templates: 

Post-Essentials Syllabi Template: Applies to courses that capture and/or are mapped to the Essentials, competencies, and domains, etc. 

Pre-Essentials Syllabi Template: Applies to courses that do not capture and/or are not mapped to the Essentials, competencies, and domains, etc. This template will be phased out once all courses have been mapped to the Essentials.

Implementation of the new syllabi is to occur upon curriculum committee approval or prior to the next semester the course is offered.
