UMSON is now an institutional member of the Association of Community Health Nursing Educators.

The purpose of the research grant funding is to provide seed money, pilot funding, or total funding for small, well-designed studies with promising scientific contributions to community/public health nursing (C/PHN) or C/PHN education. The purpose of the EBP Project funding is to support translation of scientific evidence into C/PHN education or practice. Refer to the ACHNE website to review ACHNE EBP Project Priorities, proposal guidelines, application details, and point of contact.

Applicants must be a member of ACHNE, have a master’s or doctoral degree, or be enrolled in a doctoral program.

Three research proposals will be funded based on a maximum grant fund of up to $7,500, with $2,500 per grant. The total award amount for a single EBP project is capped at $5,000 but may be less. Funds will be awarded after the ACHNE APHN 2023 Joint Conference, June 5 - 8, in San Diego, California.
