Beginning May 22 - Aug. 11, UMSON supervisors are encouraged to consider telework arrangements for eligible employees up to two days per week when, in the supervisor’s opinion, telework will foster productivity, create utility, or space cost savings, and allow for alternative methods of collaboration.

An eligible employee’s telework arrangement should not inequitably increase other employees’ workloads or impose unreasonable burdens on the supervisor. Teleworkers should not be inequitably excluded from in office activities available at the physical worksite.

Two telework days cannot be taken consecutively, nor can an employee take Monday and Friday as their two telework days (for example, Fri/Mon, Mon/Tues, etc.).
