Host Rodney Elliott by bridge

In the latest episode of the PATIENTS Program's "The Bridge" podcast, we talk with Marty McNair, whose son Jordan passed away after he suffered from heatstroke during an organized offseason team workout during his freshman season as a football player at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Along with his son’s mother, Tonya Wilson, they started The Jordan McNair Foundation because they knew there was a need to educate the sports community about the issue of heat-related sports illnesses and injuries.

Take a listen to see how they’ve spread the word on this important health issue.
