The Intercultural Center invites you to a session on the criminalization of poverty at 1 p.m. Nov. 13. Speakers from the Job Opportunities Task Force, which promotes policies and programs that increase job opportunities for low-wage workers in Maryland, will discuss key laws, policies, and practices in the state of Maryland that are penalizing and criminalizing people experiencing poverty.
