Masculinity is a complex and evolving concept. It encompasses the societal expectations and norms surrounding what it means to "be a man." For Black men, the intersection of race and gender adds additional layers to how masculinity impacts their identities, well-being, and experiences in higher education.

"The Table" podcast at UMB opens Season 2 by unraveling Black masculinity with guests Dariel Vasquez and Durante Barringer, MEd. Vasquez and Durante also discuss their work with Brothers@, an organization dedicated to supporting young men of color as they pursue their academic and professional goals.
