Students, get ready to make a positive impact on your experience at the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB).
On Feb. 27, you will receive an invitation to participate in the 2024 Student Experience Survey. In the past, student input from similar surveys has driven significant improvements at UMB, including the creation of the UMB Student Pantry and the Intercultural Center.
Your responses matter! We’re eager to receive your feedback that will help improve the learning environment at UMB.
About the Student Experience Survey
The 2024 Student Experience Survey will take about 20 to 25 minutes to complete. It will cover key areas such as professional and academic development, culture and climate, belonging, and the integration of UMB’s core values.
Look out for an email on Feb. 27 from umbexperience@umaryland.edu. The email will contain a link to the survey, and your unique password. If you misplace your password, or don’t receive an email, contact umbexperience@umaryland.edu for assistance.
Please complete the survey before the March 15 deadline. Your responses are confidential, and your participation is vital in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students at UMB.

You’re Invited to the Launch Party on Feb. 28
To kick off the survey, all students are invited to a launch party on Wednesday, Feb. 28, in the SMC Campus Center lobby, from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Hosted by UMB Student Affairs and the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, students will have the opportunity to claim their free treat, grab something to eat, and ask questions about the current survey.
