Amy Greensfelder Honored as 2024 ‘Baltimore Business Journal’ 40 Under 40 Recipient
December 09, 2024The University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW) is thrilled to announce that Amy Greensfelder, MSW ’17, LCSW, executive director of the Institute for Innovation and Implementation at UMSSW, has been recognized as a 2024 honoree in the Baltimore Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list. This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding young leaders who have made significant contributions across various industries in the Greater Baltimore area.
A licensed social worker and UMSSW alumna, Greensfelder brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership and mental health services. Her commitment to improving access to mental health care also has been acknowledged through her previous role as executive director of Pro Bono Counseling, where she worked tirelessly to connect Maryland residents with essential mental health resources.
At the Institute for Innovation and Implementation, Greensfelder leads an interdisciplinary team focused on developing effective service systems and establishing a skilled workforce to support children’s behavioral health needs across the country.
Her expertise in macro social work, commitment to social justice, and proven track record in fundraising and grant management position her perfectly to advance the institute’s mission.
