Interested in becoming a Restorative Justice (RJ) facilitator? Please apply here to let us know of your interest in participating in a Level 1 Facilitator Training. After the Level 1 Training, you are expected to participate in the program as a facilitator for a minimum of two years. 

As an RJ facilitator, you are expected to: 

  • Actively participate in monthly RJ facilitator planning/training meetings.
  • Facilitate a minimum of four RJ interventions throughout the year based on program needs. RJ interventions include Community Building Circles, Harm Circles, RJ Conferences, facilitation of professional development and training, student orientations and trainings, etc.
  • Participate in the ongoing professional development and scholarship of Restorative Justice to inform best practices within the School of Nursing, including but not limited to development of curriculum, dissemination of program materials, scholarly articles, and presentations at professional conferences.
  • Engage in ongoing personal and professional development related to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Each facilitator is responsible for serving as a role model for the In UniSON Statement.

Level 1 training sessions will take place in person on the Baltimore campus during the following days. Trainees are expected to attend all three sessions. 

  • Tuesday, June 4, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, June 11, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m. 
  • Tuesday, June 25, 12:30 - 4:30 p.m.
