EMBRACE Community Toolkit Orientation

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is committed to partnering with community members and groups to improve the human condition through social justice and equity. The EMBRACE Initiative was established in July 2023 to help meet this goal.
EMBRACE sent out a survey in March and asked faculty and staff to identify barriers to mutually beneficial community engagement. Those barriers were identified and strategies and tools have been put in place to address those challenges.
On April 15, from 1 to 3 p.m., EMBRACE will hold a virtual orientation session to help all community-engaged faculty and staff partner equitably with community members and groups.
