The President’s Symposium on April 29 will feature UMB’s President’s Fellows as they present their white paper findings and recommendations. 

This year's focus is on enhancing Near-Campus Vibrancy at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. The fellows will address the question: "In what ways can the University of Maryland, Baltimore, as an anchor institution, contribute positively to near-campus vibrancy through strategic initiatives and resource investment?" 

Through their presentation and white paper, the President's Fellows will explain their research, findings, and recommendations for UMB to address the topic of near-campus vibrancy.

Following the event, a light reception will be held.

What is the President's Symposium?

The President’s Symposium is an annual series focused on a topic selected by UMB President Bruce E. Jarrell, MD, FACS. This year’s topic is "Near-Campus Vibrancy" and focuses on how UMB can positively contribute to near-campus vibrancy through the investment of resources and strategic initiatives.
