Big Ten Academic Alliance Academic Technology Survey for Faculty
October 31, 2024In the current digital health environment, the array of technologies accessible to nursing schools and faculty has undergone considerable transformation since the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) conducted a technology survey in 2016.
Substantial progress within the digital health ecosystem, coupled with the influence of the new AACN Essentials, and advances in Artificial Intelligence is driving a surge in technology utilization, for example the simulation domain.
It is important for the Big Ten Alliance: Nursing to evaluate the current state of the nursing schools’ technology integration, aiming to identify emerging needs and areas for further development and potential collaboration.
The purpose of this survey is to gather valuable insights from nursing school faculty across BTAA nursing programs/institutions regarding the technologies and tools incorporated in academic programs/courses. Your participation is crucial in helping us understand the current landscape of integrating technology within nursing education and develop strategies to assist faculty members within and across the BTAA nursing schools.
