The Nursing Foundation of Maryland Inc. (NFM) is seeking applications for 2024 Nursing Scholarships. The scholarships will be awarded to those demonstrating scholarship, community service, commitment to, and potential for leadership in nursing.
Application Deadline: June 16
Applicants must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
- Be enrolled in an accredited Maryland nursing education program.
- Be a resident of Maryland.
- Scheduled to receive the pursued nursing degree in 2024 or 2025.
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Demonstrate involvement in community service.
- Demonstrate commitment to, and potential for, leadership in nursing.
- Submit a letter of application.
- Provide at least two (2) letters of reference. One letter must be from a nursing faculty member.
- If a registered nurse, must be a member of the Maryland Nurses Association at the time of application.
- Has not previously received a scholarship from the NFM.
- Meet the specific eligibility criteria for the scholarship to which they are applying.
