Call for Posters

You are invited to participate in the first University of Maryland School of Social Work (UMSSW) Children’s Services Research Fair on Friday, May 10, from 12-4 p.m. at UMSSW. The goals of this event are to:

1.    Explore current projects underway at UMSSW;

2.    Provide opportunities for in-depth discussion on a few featured projects;

3.    Engage in networking, problem-solving, and proposing future strategic collaborations.

The event includes lunch with a walk-through poster event and discussion roundtables, keynote presentations featuring three prominent projects in the field of children’s services, and opportunities for learning and networking.

There are three ways you can participate:

  1. Share a poster of your own work related to children's services! Sign up at Research Fair Sign-Up by April 15 if you want to include a poster in this event. Your costs for printing the poster at the UMSSW will be covered.
  2. Attend in person from 12-4 p.m. Lunch and access to all sessions is included. Sign up by May 1 at Research Fair Sign-Up to be counted for lunch.
  3. Attend virtually from 1:30-4 p.m. If you aren't able to be on campus May 10, you can join us on Zoom for the keynote sessions and discussion. Sign up at Research Fair Sign-Up to receive the Zoom link.

For any individual questions or suggestions, contact Bethany Lee at blee@ssw.umaryland.edu. Funding for this event is provided by the Barth Professorship in Children’s Services.
