The UMB Center for Global Engagement kicks off its Hot Topics series with "Dark Delights: The Global Human Cost of Coffee, Chocolate, and Sugar."

Niya Werts, PhD, MIS, MS, graduate program director for the MS in Health Science at the School of Graduate Studies, will discuss the human cost of food, in particular coffee, chocolate, and sugar.
