DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students

Nominate an exceptional graduating entry-into-nursing (BSN or CNL) nursing student for a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Students. The award was created to remind students, even on their hardest days in nursing school, why they chose to become a nurse.

The eligible nursing students must be nominated by a fellow student, staff, or faculty member from the UMSON community.

The awardees will be recognized at Graduation on Dec. 18.

DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty

Nominate a deserving faculty member for this prestigious award. The award was created to recognize and celebrate the contributions that faculty members make to the future of nursing. Faculty members serve as role models for compassionate and exemplary practice for our students. These faculty members demonstrate an inspirational influence on students that is translated to patients.

Nominations for the DAISY Faculty Award are accepted from students, fellow faculty members, and community leaders.

The winner of the award will be announced by the dean at Graduation on Dec. 18.
