The third and final presenter in the Climate Change, Health, and Society Speaker Series will be Lois Wessel, DNP, FNP-BC, associate professor at the School of Nursing and the School of Medicine at Georgetown University.
Her talk will be on "Climate Change: What's Next for Maryland?"

Wessel has extensive experience in educating health care providers in the areas of environmental health, health literacy, cultural competency, and working with patients with limited English proficiency. She is a certified medical-legal interpreter (Spanish-English) and trains interpreters at La Clinica del Pueblo in Washington, D.C. Clinically, she works at Community Clinic Inc. in Maryland with refugees and immigrants.
