Join the Intercultural Center over dinner for an evening of education and community-building in honor of Transgender Awareness Week and Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). This event is dedicated to fostering understanding, promoting inclusivity, and creating safe spaces for transgender and nonbinary individuals, and allies.
Christa Gloster (they/them/theirs), senior equity, diversity, and inclusion program specialist at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, will present on the importance of increasing awareness, historical context specific to TDOR, and provide guidance for meaningful engagement with local organizations for ongoing support.
