The American Academy of Nursing is now accepting abstracts for the 2024 Health Policy Conference:
Courageous Transformations Towards an Equitable Future
Conference to be held Oct. 31 - Nov. 2, at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, D.C.
The AAN is envisioning its future through the power of courageous transformations. This conference will explore the importance of virtual health, community-based partnerships, and the economic value of nursing to advance the goal of attaining a more equitable future. With a focus on leadership strategies to enact systemic change and promote well-being, attendees will hear from interprofessional thought leaders in policy and practice who will share key health equity interventions that will transform how health care is paid for, provided, and received. The Academy invites and seeks to engage Fellows, nurses, students, policymakers, and other stakeholders in a rich conversation to better prepare attendees to engage in trusted collaborations and take bold action to advance evidence-driven policy solutions.
