January 08, 2025The Geriatrics and Gerontology Education and Research (GGEAR) program at the University of Maryland, Baltimore invites you to participate in its 2025 in-person Geriatrics Assessment Tools Workshop.
This engaging and educational event will take place on Thursday, Feb. 6, in Columbia, Maryland. This workshop is an excellent opportunity for students and trainees to expand their knowledge and skills in the field of aging and geriatrics.

Workshop Features
- Hands-on clinical skills training in assessing and caring for older adults.
- Emphasis on team-based care and the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in geriatrics.
- Opportunities to work in interdisciplinary teams to analyze a geriatric case study.
- Participate in three interactive workshop sessions throughout the afternoon, reconvening with your team to refine your approach to the case vignette.
